Our initial schedule is set

We have set our initial schedule. The general idea is to spend three nights in Paris, exploring and acclimating, then take the Eurostar to London, spend three or four nights there, then return to Paris for a final week.

The inital trips to Paris and London we shall stay at a hotel, but the final week we intend to take an apartment. The rates can be slightly better than for a hotel.

More details will follow, especially since I have not even announced this blog...

We are going to Paris!

We have decided, and confirmed the airline, and Martha, Monika, Meagan, and Lars Eric are going to spend 16 days in Paris (with a probably stayover in London to see a play or two).

The dates shall be from 25 June (when we fly from SF) to 11 July (when we fly back to SF).

More details to follow, but this blog is being set up to allow a way to hopefully post updates about our trip easily.
